De CR 7.80 is het nieuwe instapmodel van de zevenkoppige serie.<\/p>\n<p>De CR 7.80 is voorzien van een nieuwe 305 kW (415 pk) Cursor 9-motor met een inhoud van 8,7 liter. Met behulp van SCR, maar zonder EGR voldoet de 7.80 net als de 7.90 aan Stage 5. De grotere modellen uit de serie voldoen nog aan Stage 4 final. Net als het vorige instapmodel CR 7.90 heeft de graantank een inhoud van 9.500 liter.<\/p>\n<p>Nieuw voor de hele serie is de wielaandrijving met tweetraps-versnellingsbak.\u00a0 Er zijn twee rijbereiken: een veldgroep en een transportgroep. De veldgroep loopt van nul tot 17 km\/h, de transportgroep van nul tot maximumsnelheid (marktafhankelijk). Om te wisselen van rijbereik hoeft de machine niet stil te staan<\/p>\n<h2>IntelliSense<\/h2>\n<p>Er zijn vele automatische functies zoals IntelliSense en IntelliCruise. IntelliSense laat de bestuurder uit vier strategie\u00ebn kiezen: Limited Loss (beperkte verliezen), Best Grain Quality (beste graankwaliteit), Maximum Capacity (maximale capaciteit) en Fixed Throughput (constante doorvoer). De machine stelt aan de hand van de gekozen strategie de machine in.
