In 1977 introduceerde International Harvester het systeem met een enkele, axiale, dorsrotor. LandbouwMechanisatie sprak drie gebruikers van de maaidorser.<\/p>\n<p>Akkerbouwer Jos Depotter uit Koksijde (B) is \u00e9\u00e9n van de eerste gebruikers met een Axial-Flow 5140. De machine heeft Depotter aangenaam verrast. \u201cDe machine is eenvoudig af te stellen. De dorskorven hebben we nog niet hoeven wisselen. Het dagelijks onderhoud stelt weinig voor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Henk van Oosten heeft een loonbedrijf in Meeden en gebruikt de Axial-Flow 7140. \u201cBij 10 ton tarwe en 6 ton stro ligt de capaciteit tussen 3 en 4 hectare per uur. De rotor kneust het stro meer dan een traditionele maaidorser.
