Een priester, dominee en imam zegenden de fabriek in.Uit de fabriek moeten volgend jaar 20.000 nieuwe trekkers rollen. Nu zijn dat er nog 12.500.\r\n\r\nDaarnaast moeten er binnenkort 28.500 vario-transmissies uit die fabriek komen. Dat zijn er nu nog 15.000. Niet alleen JCB maar ook Challenger zal de traploze transmissies in hun machines inbouwen.\r\n<h2>Een kilometer<\/h2>\r\nDe nieuwe hal heeft een oppervlakte van 85.000 vierkante meter. Met die uitbreiding is een bedrag van 230 miljoen euro gemoeid. In het gebouw is de nieuwe productielijn te vinden waarop alle Fendt-modellen, dus van smalspoor tot de 390 pk sterke 939 Vario, worden gemonteerd. In totaal is de productielijn een kilometer lang.\r\n<h2>Cabinefabriek<\/h2>\r\nOok bij de Fendt-fabriek in Asbach-Baumenheim moest door de uitbreiding in Marktoberdorf bijgebouwd worden. Dat kostte nog eens 70 miljoen euro.
