Allen benoemd tot chief executive officer (CEO). Vanaf 1 augustus is hij de hoogste baas van het Amerikaanse bedrijf. Allen volgt de 59 jarige Robert W. Lane op.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Samuel Allen werkt al 34 jaar voor John Deere en was al het opperhoofd van de constructie en bosbouw divisie van het bedrijf sinds 2005. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Samuel Allen is de nieuwe hoogste baas van John Deere<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Allen is 55 jaar en werkt 34 jaar bij John Deere<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>De Amerikaan is de 9e CEO in 172 jaar voor het merk<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Allen leidde ook de Deere Power Systems Group. De divisie waar John Deere motoren bouwde. Verder nam Allen sinds 2007 het voortouw voor het ontwikkelen van intelligente oplossingen, waaronder gps-systemen.<\/p>\n<p>John Deere benoemt niet vaak nieuwe voorzitters van de raad van bestuur.
