De trekker heeft een vermogen van 55,4 kW (75,3 pk). Dat komt uit een Deutz 4 cilinder TCD2.9L4 motor. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Opvallend is het uiterlijk. De trekker heeft led-verlichting, die deels aan de zijkant van de neus doorloopt. Zelfs het logo in de neus van de trekker is verlicht. De transmissie van de nieuwe trekker heeft 16 versnellingen voor- en achteruit en heeft een powershuttle. De maximum snelheid bedraagt 38,8 km\/h. Volgens de gegevens van de fabrikant kan de trekker 2.338 kg tillen in de driepuntshef. De T78 weegt zelf 2.745 kg. De aftakas heeft twee toerentallen: 560 en 780.
