De nieuwe mechanische transmissie heeft twaalf versnellingen in beide rijrichtingen. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n<p>De viercilinder Farmall C die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mechaman.nl\/landbouwmechanisatie\/artikel\/20241002\/nieuwe-farmall-c-van-case-ih\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">afgelopen najaar<\/a> ge\u00efntroduceerd is, was tot nu toe alleen leverbaar met een ActiveDrive 2-transmissie met 24\u00d724 versnellingen, verdeeld over drie groepen met vier versnellingen en een Hi-Lo. Dat werd gecombineerd met een elektrohydraulische omkeerinrichting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met de nieuwe, meer eenvoudige mechanische optie, zou de trekker goedkoper worden. De ManualDrive-optie, een mechanische transmissie met 12 versnellingen vooruit en 12 versnellingen achteruit of 20\u00d720 met kruipversnellingen), is uitgerust met een elektrohydraulische omkeerinrichting en de zogeheten ActiveClutch-functie.
