De tanden zijn daardoor ongeveer 50 procent stijver. Daarnaast blijft volgens de fabrikant ook minder materiaal aan de tanden hangen. Hierdoor haalt de eg het dode organische materiaal beter uit de hybride grasmat naar boven.
