Dat wordt op vakbeurs SIMA in Parijs duidelijk. E\u00e9n van de nieuwkomers is de Engelse Alamo-dochter Bomford.Bomford kennen we in Nederland van de werktuigenarmen. Maar als het aan de Engelse vertegenwoordiging ligt gaan we ook kennis maken met de radiografische werktuigendragers. Daarom heeft Bomford de reeks onlangs uitgebreid met een compact model om enkel te maaien en een grote machine met 51 kW (68 pk). Deze pk\u2019s komen uit een stage 3b Perkins-motor met vier cilinders. De typeaanduiding Surpreme 70 verwijst naar het vermogen.<\/p>\n<h2>Flailbot Surpreme 40 en 40C<\/h2>\n<p>De andere nieuwe Bomford Flailbot is de Surpreme 40C waarbij de C voor compact staat en de 40 voor het vermogen. De machine heeft nagenoeg dezelfde specificaties als de eerder ge\u00efntroduceerde Surpreme 40, het eerste model, maar is kleiner en 300 kg lichter. Dat komt vooral door de constructie. De 40C heft minder en is vooral geschikt voor het klepelmaaien en niet voor de zwaardere klussen.Een kenmerk van de Flailbot Surpreme\u2019s zijn de uitschuifbare rupsen, beide 50 centimeter. Bij de twee grootste modellen gaat dat vanaf de afstandsbediening. Bij de 40C handmatig.<\/p>\n<h2>Alamo Group<\/h2>\n<p>Bomford\u2019s moederbedrijf Alamo is een wereldspeler en tevens eigenaar van Spearhead en McConnel. Die laatste koopt zijn radiografische werktuigendragers in bij het Italiaanse Energreen.
